3M: Miss Madew and Miss McCue
3W: Mr Wallace and Mrs Underhill
Hi I am Miss Madew, I have worked at Mill Hill for over nine Years and have previously worked across Year 1 and Year 2 and I am excited to be working in Year 3. The children at this age are wonderful to work with and are really beginning to show their individual personalities and independence. As part of my role at Mill Hill I am Lower KS2 phase leader as well as science lead. Â
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books and singing with a theatre choir. I love all things Harry Potter and Mary Poppins and spending time with my two cats Mabel and Susie. Â
I have the pleasure of working alongside Miss McCue. She started her journey at Mill Hill in the wish team, which she really enjoyed as she is extremely passionate about working with children with SEND. Now, she thoroughly enjoys being classroom based and working in year 3. She has three fabulous children who she loves spending time with doing family activities.
Hi I am Mr Wallace. I have previously worked across all sectors of education and have an extensive background in PE/sports coaching, where I have coached a number of age ranges from 5 – 18. Â
Outside of school I enjoy getting involved in a number of sports and keeping active, reading books, playing video games and spending time with my friends. Â
With me is Mrs Underhill, who has worked at the school for 18 years. It holds a special place in her heart. She has worked in Early years and Key Stage 2 so has been able to see our children’s starting points and the expectations they need to achieve in Upper Key Stage 2. She enjoys escaping to her caravan in Wales at weekends and is enjoys spending time with her family.Â
Â
This year, our PE day is on Tuesday. Please make sure appropriate PE kit is in school that day. This includes the purple Mill Hill t-shirt. It is important the children take part in the sessions. Please see our uniform policy for more details. Â http://clt.millhill.coop/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Academy-Uniform-September-2023.pdf
We change our reading books every Monday. We also monitor homework on a Friday, so please ensure children bring these to school on that day. We love to see all the amazing work they do with you at home.Â
We are so excited for all of the learning opportunities we will get to share with the children this year and we try to make it as fun filled and creative as we possibly can.Â
