WISH

At Mill Hill Primary Academy, we pride ourselves in the pastoral care and support we have in place for our children, their families and the wider community.

Our Welfare, Inclusion and SEND Hub (WISH) is based within the academy and is integral in ensuring that all our children flourish and the families and the wider community that we serve receive the support they need. It is facilitated by a number of highly skilled and qualified staff that always go above and beyond for the academy community.

Who do we support?

  • Children/families in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding
  • Children with special educational needs (SEND)
  • Children in need of social, emotional or mental health support
  • Families in need of support • Local and National charities.

Our facilities include:

  • A Reflection Zone which is an area that the children use for quiet contemplation and receive support for any social, emotional and behaviour needs.
  • Intervention rooms used for SEND support and intervention, nurture provision and curriculum catch up.
  • A community room that is used for community events, counselling, school nurse appointments, Early Help meetings, attendance clinics and family support meetings
