Here at Mill Hill Primary Academy, pupil voice is taken very seriously indeed with a range of different ways for children to voice their ideas.
Classes from Year 2 to Year 6 have an elected school council representative who, attends school council meetings each half term. School council representatives bring forward ideas and suggestions from their classes for discussion as well as feeding back to their classes and ideas which are discussed. This council has organised many whole school ballots.
We have an elected Student Leadership Team consisting of 3 Senior Prefects, Prefects and Ambassadors in Year 6. We also have a very successful house system with House Captains in year 6 and Vice House Captains from Year 2.
