School Day Timings
Our school day begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:00pm.
Registration
Morning registration takes place at 8:30am. We encourage all pupils to arrive on time so they are ready to start learning promptly.
Morning Break
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Children access breaks through continuous provision, allowing them to learn and play flexibly throughout the day.
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Morning break takes place from 10:45am to 11:00am for pupils in:
- Year 1
- Year 2
- Year 3
- Year 4
- Year 5
- Year 6
Lunchtime Arrangements
- Nursery: 11:30am onwards
- Reception: 11:40am onwards
- Year 1: 12:00pm – 12:40pm
- Year 2: 12:00pm – 12:40pm
- Year 3: 12:20pm – 1:00pm
- Year 4: 12:20pm – 1:00pm
- Year 5: 12:20pm – 1:00pm
- Year 6: 12:20pm – 1:00pm
Reporting an Absence
If your child is unable to attend school, please notify the school office from 7:30am by calling 01782 234466. Alternatively, absences can be reported via Arbor.
Weekly School Hours
The academy is open to all pupils for 32.5 hours per week, in line with Department for Education guidance.
