Meet the Team
RD – Mrs Donnelly and Mrs Lindop
RF – Mrs Flannigan and Mrs Joines
Hello, my name is Mrs Donnelly and I am the Early Years Lead at Mill Hill Primary Academy. I have been teaching for 13 years and have spent my whole teaching career working in the Early Years, which is a huge passion of mine. I feel very lucky to be part of such an important stage in children’s learning and development, helping them to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence. I am passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging and inspiring environment where every child feels safe, valued and excited to learn. I love seeing children develop through play, exploration and meaningful experiences. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children, my two daughters, aged 6 and 7, and my little boy, who is 1. Family time is very important to me, and I love making special memories together.
Hello! I am Mrs Flannigan and I work in RF with Mrs Joines. I have 3 grown up children and a gorgeous fur baby, called Sookie. I have worked at Mill Hill for almost 20 years and still love it as much as I did when I started. I love to encourage the children to try their best and love to see them flourish in all they do.
Mrs Joines and I both love to sing and dance and are often seen doing this in the classroom! You will also catch Mrs Joines spending quality time with the family and eating her favourite thing in the whole world… spaghetti bolognese and Lindor chocolate!
This year, PE is on a Monday. Please make sure appropriate PE kit is in school each week and any earrings have been removed and left at home. Please see our uniform policy for more details. https://clt.millhill.coop/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Academy-Uniform-September-2023.pdf
We change our reading books on a Friday and ask that purple folders are brought into school every day with their books and planners inside. We also monitor homework on a weekly basis and expect homework books to be returned on a Thursday, so your child can share their progress. We send phonics homework weekly, to be returned every Thursday.
We have lots of exciting topics to teach this year and are looking forward to sharing these with your child.
Autumn 1 topic: Transport – Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Autumn 2 topic: Celebrations
Spring topic: The World and Beyond
Summer topic: All Creatures Great and Small
