Today, year 1 had an exciting Doctors and Nurses Launch Day and what a fun-filled day it was!
🤕 They started with first aid training led by Miss Hughes, learning how to carefully apply bandages.
🧸At the Teddy Bear’s Hospital, children played the role of doctors, diagnosing and treating their cuddly patients.
🪥They also learned about the importance of keeping teeth and skin clean for a healthy body.
🩻 Using playdough, they modeled parts of the human body, while at the X-ray station, they examined images of bones. Creativity shone through as they built pasta skeletons and crafted their own medical kits and badges.
🏥To complete the day, they worked together to design and construct their own hospitals and ambulances.
