A huge well done to all of Year 3 who, over the past few weeks, have taken part in the wonderful Adopt a Player programme.

This exciting programme, delivered as part of the Character and Arts Foundation, gave the children a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a professional musician from the Halle Orchestra. It has been an inspiring experience, allowing pupils to explore music in a creative and engaging way while developing their confidence and performance skills.

Each week, the children worked collaboratively to create their own musical pieces, experimenting with a variety of instruments and sounds. Drawing inspiration from their recent visit to the Victoria Hall, they thoughtfully incorporated what they had seen and heard into their compositions, showing great imagination and enthusiasm throughout.

The final performances were a true celebration of all their hard work — full of energy, expression, and creativity. We are incredibly proud of every single pupil for their commitment and the confidence they showed in sharing their music.
