On Wednesday some of our children had an exciting trip to visit the Pear Tree and Miners Sculpture. A fantastic part of history that makes us proud of good old Stoke-on-Trent!
They have been learning all about how the miners of Stoke on Trent played a big role in the rebuilding of the town of Lidice.
Lidice is a small mining town in the Czech Republic, which was destroyed by Hitler during World War ll.
They had loads of fun 😁
