A huge well done to our wonderful Year 4 pupils who attended the Recorder Festival at Trentham Gardens! The children represented our school brilliantly and sounded absolutely fantastic. It was clear to see how much dedication, practice and hard work they have put into learning their notes and musical pieces on the recorder.

The children were asked to perform pieces that they had not seen before. They had to quickly learn the music on the spot and perform it together, which required excellent listening skills, teamwork and musical understanding. They rose to the challenge brilliantly and handled it with great confidence.

We were also very excited to welcome a special visitor from Huntrix, who joined the children for a fun and energetic K-Pop medley. It was a fantastic experience for the pupils to play along with a live musician and explore a different musical style. The performance brought lots of energy and smiles, making it a memorable highlight of the day.
