🌟Year 3 Multiplication Parent Workshop 🌟

Today, parents had the opportunity to come into school to explore the activities we use to support the learning of times tables. The staff shared why times tables are so important, how we use them in our maths learning and practical ways to support them at home. The staff also shared how TTRS helps children to learn and remember their times tables in a fun and engaging way.

It is vital for year 3 pupils to focus on their times tables and be able to recall them rapidly. In year 4, they will complete the Multiplication Tables Check which will be similar to the Sound Check on TTRS. This will allow us to see how well they know their times tables and will also really support them in so many areas of maths!
