Year 1’s Trip to Tunstall Park (Mar 26)

As part of Year 1’s Geography fieldwork, the children explored the questions “What is at our local park?” and “How do people get there?”. Showing great enthusiasm and determination, they braved the wind and rain to take a walk to Tunstall Park. 🛝🎾 🌲🌿

During the visit, the pupils had the opportunity to explore their local environment and carefully observe the different features of the park, such as the trees, open spaces, pathways and play equipment.

They discussed what people can do at the park and why it is an important place for the local community.
