Today, Year 6 had the exciting opportunity to take part in a World War 2 workshop, where they learned about key events and experiences from the war. The students were fully immersed in a variety of engaging activities, such as examining historical artefacts, practicing fire-fighting techniques, and learning how to dispose of bombs.
They even took on the role of Air Raid Protectors, gaining a hands-on understanding of the challenges faced during wartime. To make the experience even more realistic, they also cared for casualties, bringing history to life in a fun and educational way.
Well done year 6! 🤩
