On Monday, a special guest, Mr. Farooq from the Hajj Company, visited our school to talk about Ramadan during assembly.
Mr. Farooq explained that Ramadan is a time for reflection, fasting, and helping others. He told the students how Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset, focusing on kindness, patience, and being thankful.
Mr. Farooq shared stories and examples of how people give to charity and spend time with family and friends during this special month.
The assembly was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn more about Ramadan and the values of caring and sharing that it teaches.
