‘Start Small; Dream Big’ primary pilot programme at Keele University (Mar 25)

⭐‘Start Small; Dream Big’ ⭐

Some of our wonderful Y5 pupils attended the celebratory finals event of the ‘Start Small; Dream Big’ primary pilot programme at Keele University.

The ‘Start Small; Dream Big’ programme has been developed to help primary school children dream big about their future careers, with support from The Careers and Enterprise Company, Stoke-on-Trent Careers Hub, and Staffordshire-based employers, GivEnergy.

These sessions have been designed to:

– Increase awareness of the world of work for primary-aged children
– Raise aspirations and reduce career-related stereotypes
– Help students develop transferable skills for their future
– Introduce career opportunities within the local area.

This exciting event provided a wonderful opportunity for children to showcase their hard work and innovative ideas developed during the programme.

– They presented their projects of designing an energy saving, sustainable device alongside other young innovators.
– they also took part in a tall tower challenge. They had to build the tallest tower, made of paper.

Well done to you all! You represented Mill Hill amazingly! 🌟
