Year 3 had an unforgettable visit from Mr Egypt today! 🐫✨
He took the children on an exciting journey back to Ancient Egypt, where they learned how to write using Egyptian hieroglyphics and discovered the different foods people ate thousands of years ago.
The class even had the incredible opportunity to hold real artefacts that Mr Egypt had discovered in tombs himself!
There was lots of hands-on fun too – the children turned each other into mummies and listened to an inspiring story about a young boy who dreamed of becoming an Egyptologist… and that boy grew up to be Mr Egypt!
We also learned all about Tutankhamun and his famous death mask. What a fantastic, immersive experience for Year 3! 🌟
