I was born and raised in Stoke on Trent, which I am extremely proud of. My mum worked in a local pot bank and my dad was a truck driver. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to be a teacher. As I grew up, my mum and dad fully supported me in achieving a career as a teacher as this was what I always dreamt of becoming.
I started my training at Manchester Metropolitan University before having my daughter. I then continued with my degree and started my first teaching post in 2011. During my career, I have taught across all key stages and I love teaching any year band but for different reasons. I joined the team at Mill Hill in February 2019. I love the ethos and culture of the school.
I am very pleased to be Vice Principal, and I am very excited to be a key part of journey we are on as an academy. My passion is supporting and watching the children grow into independent learners who can achieve anything they desire to. I feel a real sense of pride in seeing our children achieve new things.
