A. Minton

Curriculum Leader

My teaching career started in Liverpool, way back in 2002, where I trained for 3 years. After that, I moved back to the city to begin teaching in schools across Stoke-on-Trent.

In 2007, I arrived at Mill Hill and instantly, it stole my heart and I now believe I have Mill Hill running through my veins. The children that attend this school are truly wonderful.I have had the pleasure of working across both key stages during my time here, which has enabled me to see how the children progress and where they need to get to.

I am very passionate about the children’s learning and want to inspire them to be independent learners, who are able to build a successful future for themselves. Our foundations play a crucial part to enable this. Creativity plays a huge part in all our lives and I feel it brings out the best in people, therefore this is what I want for our children and the curriculum we teach them. Every child is different, and we just need to find what they love to inspire them to achieve it!
